Note: Correct Lower buildplate and Raise buildplate. Fix the current value not match the real value.
Firmware Version 2.5 / Date 2016/04/28
Note: Fix the Max Extruder Temperature to 260’C. Fix the Max bed temperature to 115’C
Firmware Version 3.01 / Date 2016/05/24
Note: Fix the version bug. Fix the platform lower distance.
Update the firmware :
First, download the firmware and unzip it
connect your PC to printer via USB
Select > Machine > Install Custom Firmware.
Select downloaded firmware update file and valid OK.
The update launch on D6 It take 20/30s
When progess bar will complete on LCD
The D6 reboot, Job is done
I was looking for 1 hour

but no readme in 2.5 rar
I havn’t done this myself. But on user manual says “Updating firmware with USB cable Once a while Cura will give you a mention that new firmware available. New firmware means that we have optimize the control of the electronics which will gives better print results and user experience. If you see this mention, connect the USB cable between your computer and your Duplicator 6 and follow the instructions in Cura.”

Hi Guys I found cura 15.4 and 16.1 are not working properly for me .I like to use cura 2.1 (free) and simplify3d (aprox 150USD )

Dear All the D6 users,
Sorry for so many firmware issue on the D6. It’s our problem that we never thought these bugs are so much hurting. All our technician guys and some guys from Makerbot are busy modifying the firmware now. We shall release the new firmware with fixing the bugs after we finishing testing around 24th May. Sorry for keep you waitting.
daft queston but i only need to install the latest firmware 3 to my d6 it will have all the previous firmware fixes in it. is this correct cheers Tim
